Our library office at The HILL, John Hunter Hospital also provides library services. University of Newcastle Library members can also borrow items from HNE Health Libraries' print collections.

Borrow and renew
You can borrow up to six items at a time for a standard loan period of four weeks.
Loans can usually be renewed up to two times, provided another user hasn't requested the item.
Important: Renew your items by their due date. Overdue items cannot be renewed.
Use the Members and Guests option to login to the catalogue to renew.
Laptop loans
Laptops are available to borrow from The HILL, JHH and Tamworth Hospital Library.
Overdue items
Overdue fines apply:
- $2 per item, first day overdue
- $0.50 per item per day after that
- Borrowing is suspended when fines reach $15.
Lost or damaged items
You may be charged the replacement cost and a processing fee for items that are lost, damaged or not returned when requested.
